30-day money-back guarantee
If you're not satisfied with Chargd Pro for any reason, request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, no explanation required.
How to request a refund:
- Go to your customer portal, hosted by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor.
- Sign in with the email address you used to purchase.
- Find your Chargd Pro licence and click “Request Refund.”
- Your refund is processed immediately by Lemon Squeezy.
If you have trouble using the self-service portal, email support@chargd.proand we'll process it manually within 24 hours.
After the 30-day window
Refund requests made after 30 days are handled case by case. Email us with what went wrong or why the App didn't work for you, and what you expected versus what happened. We may offer a fix, an extended evaluation period, or a refund as an exception, at our discretion. This doesn't affect your other statutory rights.
What happens after a refund
- Lemon Squeezy processes the payment reversal to your original payment method.
- Your Pro licence is revoked, typically within about an hour if the App is online the next time it's launched, or the next time it performs its periodic licence check if it isn't opened right away.
- The App reverts to the Free tier. Your data is not affected or deleted: all invoices, clients, and records you created remain on your device; only Pro-gated features become locked again.
Your statutory rights (UK / EU consumers)
If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, digital-content purchases are ordinarily covered by a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (UK) / EU Consumer Rights Directive, unless you expressly requested that performance begin immediately and acknowledged that doing so waives your right to cancel once the content is fully delivered (typically confirmed at checkout when you activate your licence key right after purchase).
Our 30-day money-back guarantee is more generous than this statutory minimum and applies regardless of that waiver. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory right you hold under the law of your country of residence.
Non-refundable circumstances
We reserve the right to decline a refund, or to refuse future purchases, where there's clear evidence of:
- Abuse of the refund guarantee (e.g. repeated purchase-and-refund cycles)
- Fraudulent payment or chargeback abuse
- Breach of the Terms of Service, such as licence-key sharing or resale
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank instead of requesting a refund through us, your licence will be revoked immediately and you may be blocked from future purchases. Please contact us first. We process refund requests quickly and a chargeback is rarely necessary.
Free tier
The Free tier of Chargd is, and always will be, free to use. There's nothing to refund for it. This policy applies only to the paid Pro licence.
